FASHION | Olivia Wilde for H&M Conscious Exlusive Collection

H&M's new Conscious Exlusive Collection is in the making and guess who they chose to be the face of this collection? Olivia Wilde, the beautiful American actress. 

Olivia is more than just a pretty face who acts, she's also a fighter for the environment so this collaboration between H&M and Wilde isn't a surprise. 

The different touches from all over the world have to give the collection that 'universal theme'. The collection exists out of hand drawn graphics, snake/nature prints, earth tones and simple lines -underneath you can see a preview. I think it looks really good, what's your opinion?

The launch date is only on April 16th so we still got to wait a bit but for a beautiful, fashionable and ecological collection we're willing to wait, no?

Let's continue with things I wouldn't mind getting for my birthday.

FASHION | 6X AW x HM

Let's talk about what every fashionista is talking about : the Alexander Wang collection for H&M. The past months there were speculations and we got some teasers from celebs like RiRi but a few days ago the actual collection has been released. It's a quite sporty and edgy collection that only exists out of three colors : white, grey and black. I am not such a fan of this style so that's why there is only one 'real' clothing piece between my favorites. My two fav's out of these six ones are the bikini and the towel, here comes my love for summer again ;)

I opted for this photo of Olivia Palermo as the head image of this post simply because I am in loooove with this dress coat by Matthew Williamson. Oh, and those mirrored glasses really finish the look.

FASHION | Olivia Palermo x Aquazzura

If you're a bit of a fan of Olivia Palermo, then you've probably already heared about her collaboration with the Florence-based brand Aquazurra. If not and you love shoes I suggest you keep on reading!

There are multiple reasons why Olivia teamed up with this brand : OP has been a supporter and wearer of Aquazurra since the start of the brand and since that moment on she is also friends with the designer and founder, Egardo Osorio. 

As the friendship also turned into a partership, Palermo and Osorio got ideas from Edgardo's archives and Olivia's closet with as result a six piece collection. 

You can buy the shoes in only 12 stores around the world but you can also buy them exclusively online at Net-A-Porter -thank god for online shopping! You should definitely take a look -you can find an overview of the shoes after the jump plus a video- and if you want to buy a pair, don't wait too long because some are already sold out!

FASHION | Isabel Marant Etoile leopard booties for fall 2014

Isabel Marant, a well-known designer that pretty much creates a hype every season.

These amazing looking booties -they're in leopard print so there is no doubt about it that I love them- are in the new Isabel Marant Etoile collection for this fall. 

I'm not going to buy these beauties since I already have leo ankle boots -with quite a story behind them, read it here. 

I can totally recommend buying boots like this, they spice up every outfit and are a statement on it's own.

FASHION | Kate Moss in all white?!

If you've seen some photos of her, no editorial or campaign photos but her daily life looks, you can't deny that she loves black. Most of her outfits are rather dark. That's why I was so 'shocked' when I stumbled upon this picture of her on Tumblr. 

Moss in a completely white look? I had never seen that before! (except on her wedding day) 

I must admit that I like it but I'm still more a fan of her usual black looks.

Olivia Palermo has been wearing Westward Leaning sunglasses since the start in 2012 so it's no surprise that Westward Leaning is very happy with this collaboration. They say they couldn't have asked for a more loyal or stylish informal brand ambassador.

INSPIRATION | Coachella 2014

With the good weather from the past days, Summer is on my mind all the time. And when I think of Summer, I instantly think about festivals. If you follow me already for a while, it is possible that you've seen some festivalposts. If not, you can see some of them here here here here here and more. 

Big or small festivals, I doesn't really matter to me, it's just that special vibe that I love so much! 

One of the most famous festivals around the world took place at the beginning of April. Yes I'm talking about Coachella. Coachella is a festival in the desert in California. It's not only known for it's artists and music but also for the fashionable people that walk around there. Artists, models, bloggers, it-girls, actors, etcetera and of course 'normal' people.

FASHION | Coco Rocha x BaubleBar

Coco Rocha, Canadian fashion model, has launched a jewelry line together with BaubleBar. I really like these kind of collaborations -and I just love BaubleBar!-. 

It isn't the first time that BaubleBar does something like this; they already did this with Ashley Madekwe and Kourtney Kerr.

The small collection exists mostly out of statement pieces and for the ones who are still searching for a nice ear cuff, this is your chance! There is one really special piece and the fact that makes it so special is that it is custom made. I'm talking about the 'personalized script ear cuff'. This collection and the ones from the other guest bartenders are definitely worth to take a look!

FASHION | Streetstyle NYFW, LFW, MFW, PFW February 2014

With being almost the half of May it is about time that I show you some of my favorite looks and photos from the fashionweeks last February. 

The reason it took so long isn't really my fault actually, I was still waiting for some bloggers/photographers to post their snapshots but I can't keep you waiting, right?! Because before we realize it, the new fashion season will already begin. 

Enjoy these last winter outfits -although some aren't really winter-ish to me-. 

EVENT | JuliaJune FW14

In the beginning of April I was invited to go to the JuliaJune x Fevery event. 

JuliaJune is a growing brand that describes itselves as

Quite a beautiful poem/story to describe let people meet your brand, right? 

Fevery is a valued bakery in my city, Ghent, which has to close it's doors unfortunately. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go to the basement -the place where all the magic happened-, have a little chat with the owners of Fevery and see how yummy things were made in this very authentic bakery.  

Now you may think, what is the link between these two? Well, Fevery is closing his doors while JuliaJune will open these exact doors again in August but with fashion instead of food. 

I guess it is probably one of the most smart decisions to do it like this because fashion and food are both a piece of art in my eyes. 

I had a super lovely evening thanks to original concept, the food & drinks, DJ Søren, fellow bloggers Aurélie and Stephanie with who I spent most of my time with, and MediaMania! 

WORDS | Collect moments

When I am writing this it is almost midnight and I just got home from a trip to Rotterdam, the Netherlands. 

This quote may look a bit 'weird' on a fashion blog since fashion has lots to do with things but in the end, what do you remember? Things or memories from funny, lovely, special moments?

I am not saying that you don't have to buy anything, I know that I won't leave that Chanel 2.55 in the shop if I had the money, but what I want to say is that maybe we should invest more in moments that make us happy -a citytrip, going a day somewhere, a festival, a vacation or something else that you love to do- instead of buying another pair of jeans or shoes. 

This is definitely not an attack on you because I'm guilty of buying another thing of this/that as well, it is a reminder to me, you, us.
