INSPIRATION | Winter fashion

When we enter a new year, I'm always looking forward to spring because we're already dealing so long with the cold, rain and darkness. Although the cold hasn't been that bad this winter so far, I'm craving sunshine and higher temperatures. 

Unfortunately we still got some winter time ahead of us so I looked up some outfits that go from LA winter dressing to the winters I'm used to. 

Let's make the best of it!

OUTFIT | Getting ready

I already started to get ready for tonight a few hours ago so I don't have to rush and I can enjoy the last day/night of the year.

Daan and I are going to have dinner and a little party with some of his friends. We decided to dress up a bit but nothing too fancy, hence the black & silver and not the usual party dress.

OUTFIT | Boho maxi dress

After the amount of rain we had in August it's even more nice that the sun is shining and the fact that the temperatures are enjoyable -although it might be a bit warmer for me, but no complaining. 

Seems like we're having an Indian summer! What better way to celebrate this and wear my new boho maxi dress, which I got from my grandma and grandpa by the way, 

I can imagine that this dress isn't everyone's cup of tea, incluiding the boyfriend, but according to the weather forcast we still have some sunny days to come which means I can shoot other outfits.

INSPIRATION | Bright outfits

Some bright outfits for inspiration! Why? Because I dress myself way too dark, almost always in simple colors like black grey and white, and I really want to spice up my outfits and wardrobe. Plus, we're still in the summertime people, let's enjoy it as much as we can in every single way!

FASHION | Kate Moss in all white?!

If you've seen some photos of her, no editorial or campaign photos but her daily life looks, you can't deny that she loves black. Most of her outfits are rather dark. That's why I was so 'shocked' when I stumbled upon this picture of her on Tumblr. 

Moss in a completely white look? I had never seen that before! (except on her wedding day) 

I must admit that I like it but I'm still more a fan of her usual black looks.

OUTFIT | Peacock print

First of all : happy July everyone! June wasn't such a good month on different levels, incluiding the blog so let's hope that this month will be better. 

Over to the outfit right now. This is what I wore on the first day in Tunesia, when my mum and I decided to go take a look at the promenade. It was actually really nice to have a promenade at our hotel, it reminded me a bit of the Côte d'Azur with the only difference being in Tunesia instead of France. 

We were just taking some photos and suddenly a man came to us with a little turtle and a chameleon, no kidding! Since I am scared of almost all animals, I didn't touch them or something but I just quickly posed for  a photo with them, to run away pretty fast after we got the pic haha. 

And oh, I loved the benches on the promenade! The printed tiles are so beautiful, they reminded me a little bit of Barcelona :)

I think I'll leave you with this text because we already have Tunesia, France and Spain in this post. Plus I am watching the WorldCup game Belgium - USA right now and it's getting too much with all these countries from different continents ;) 

OUTFIT | Printed trousers

Two weeks ago I was in Tunesia -I haven't told you guys this- and this is one of the outfits I wore for dinner. 

I don't think you've ever seen me with trousers like these before but these are so comfortable! Seriously, if I find a similar pair with the same fit in a nice color or print I will definitely buy one, or more.

OUTFIT | Hippie

If you follow me on Instagram you've probably already seen that I played 'hippie' with my little sister today. I don't really know why but suddenly we were hippies because of the headbands we made. 

Absolutely no hippie-outfit but hey, the headband does it, right?! 

BLOG | Weekly schedule

Hi lovelies, hopefully you had a great weekend! 

I have a schedule in my head for the blog and I thought it would be nice to share it with you so you know what to expect. 

For now, this is the plan : 

Monday will stay 'WORDS | -day'. I don't know if I will keep this category since I notice that it's the topic with the least reactions. I don't really know wjy; maybe you don't want to open up or maybe you just don't like these posts. Please tell me what it is so I know if I should keep writing these posts or better stop with them. 

Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday I am going to try to post outfits. I am saying try because I'm not always able to take photos but then I will try to give you a sneak peek or something, like I did last week (see here). 

Wednesday, Friday and Sunday I will write posts that belong to other categories like beauty, life, inspiration, shop, fashion, etcetera.

And here we are already with the last outfit from Rotterdam. I wore this for travelling, a denim shirt with a jeans, some sneakers, a coat and a super handy bag. What do you need more in an outfit when travelling?

Monday I wrote that I was going to write a blogpost every day of the past week.

OUTFIT | May 17th

This is what I wore today. Yes, actually today! Isn't it a shock that I'm already posting it on the blog?! 

I am a little bit proud of myself because normally I'm not that fast..

 I chose this casual chic, more on the casual side, outfit because I had to go to the yearly schoolevent of my little sister. Well, I didn't have to but I love seeing her doing her thing and performing!

The weather was very nice so this boho blouse was enough to keep me warm. Actually, I was dressed too warm but I didn't want to wear a beautiful skirt or dress because with hundreds of little children an accident isn't far away.. 

Tomorrow will be a lazy Sunday in the sun, hopefully I will get a tan! 

OUTFIT | Striped black

Another outfit from Rotterdam. It was the third day, Easter Sunday, and the weather was pretty good so I decided to change my leopard coat into a leather jacket. 

An all black outfit except for the white stripes on my jumper -dang, I searched very long for a jumper like this!-, the golden studs on my bag and the silver details on my jacket and shoes. Oh and let's not forget about that little golden detail on the side of my sunglasses, which I adore! I think that you'll be seeing me wearing them a lot.. 

I added the last photo for a funny touch because I was posing in the park and lots of people came by and my boyfriend doesn't like take pics in general, let alone when people come by. So what did I do? 

Act a bit crazy!

OUTFIT | Leopard in Rotterdam

Another outfitpost, finally! As you may have read here I went to Rotterdam with the boyfriend to spend Easter weekend but actually it was to celebrate our five years anniversary. We decided to have a little 'datenight', dress up a bit more -me wearing a dress, he wearing a shirt- instead of just casual outfits. 

I wore the little black dress I bought for my 20th birthday together with my leopardcoat, which was my coat for the whole weekend and I was and I still am surprised how good I can combine this coat! Definitely a good purchase last year, hooray! 

INSPIRATION | All black outfits spring/summer

Let's finish April with some inspiration and start May with some. The most obvious thing to do would share very colorful outfits but guess what, let's do the opposite. Let's be a bit rebellious and look at very beautiful total black outfits to wear in spring and summer. 

Prepare yourself for an overdose of inspiring looks in my favorite color! 

OUTFIT | Khaki jeans

I totally forgot about these photos. They are from in Maastricht, almost 2 months ago already! 

Since it was the beginning of February, it was way colder than it is right now so that's why you see me wearing my wintercoat and booties etc. Wearing some of my favorite pieces -my leopard booties, Alexander Wang look-a-like bag and my black coat- I was ready to explore the city. 

It was the first time I wore these khaki jeans and honestly, I need to wear it more often because it is so comfortable! Of course it will be combined in other ways because spring and summer are on it's way so don't forget to follow my blog so you can see the other combinations. OUTFIT | Leather leggings

Tuesday night I had a girlsevening with some friends from university. The plan was just to eat something together and chill a little bit, so there was no special outfit required. 

I decided to wear my leather look leggings, a plain black tee from H&M, an oversized cardigan bought at Pimkie and my beloved Asos studded booties. 

I took some photos but they didn't work out well at all. This is the best one and I'm not happy with it because the leggings and cardigan aren't representing the reality. I am just showing you this because I found that it was time for another outfitpost -well, this isn't a post, just one photo but better this than nothing I guess? 

I'll try to find the time, the right light and a good location this weekend to shoot this outfit again.

Besides this, I don't have anything planned  for the weekend. What are your plans? Give me some inspo please! 

OUTFIT | #TBT burgundy dress

If you are familiar with Instagram, you know what '#TBT' in this post's title means. For the people who don't have Instagram or aren't such an addict like me, it means ThrowBack Thursday. So the photo you share on a Thursday from a while ago, whether it's from a week ago or a month or even years, often goes along with #tbt. Since this outfit is from a while ago, Christmas eve to be exact (you can see the sneak peek here), the title of this post had to be hashtagged. 

I'm not very happy with the photos because of two reasons : the light is a bit weird because they are taken inside my house and I look extremely tired. 

But hey, it was a busy and stressful period with my exams and all the holiday parties.
