OUTFIT | Striped bodycon

Hi lovelies, another outfit from my holiday in Tunesia! I can't believe it's exactly one month ago that I left. Like I wrote last week, time can be/feel so different. I'm having this right now as well : I feel like I was just enjoying my holiday but on the other hand it's feels like months ago! 

Unfortunately I'm writing this from rainy Belgium, which sucks to say the least. But looking at these photos also makes me happy because this is an outfit I really like. Quite simple but I think it is because I've been looking for a black and white striped bodycon dress for so long and 3 days before I took off, I finally found it! Plus I could wear my beloved fringe sandals again. 

YAY!

OUTFIT | Peacock print

First of all : happy July everyone! June wasn't such a good month on different levels, incluiding the blog so let's hope that this month will be better. 

Over to the outfit right now. This is what I wore on the first day in Tunesia, when my mum and I decided to go take a look at the promenade. It was actually really nice to have a promenade at our hotel, it reminded me a bit of the Côte d'Azur with the only difference being in Tunesia instead of France. 

We were just taking some photos and suddenly a man came to us with a little turtle and a chameleon, no kidding! Since I am scared of almost all animals, I didn't touch them or something but I just quickly posed for  a photo with them, to run away pretty fast after we got the pic haha. 

And oh, I loved the benches on the promenade! The printed tiles are so beautiful, they reminded me a little bit of Barcelona :)

I think I'll leave you with this text because we already have Tunesia, France and Spain in this post. Plus I am watching the WorldCup game Belgium - USA right now and it's getting too much with all these countries from different continents ;) 

OUTFIT | Printed trousers

Two weeks ago I was in Tunesia -I haven't told you guys this- and this is one of the outfits I wore for dinner. 

I don't think you've ever seen me with trousers like these before but these are so comfortable! Seriously, if I find a similar pair with the same fit in a nice color or print I will definitely buy one, or more.

OUTFIT | Nude round sunnies

Just a random every day outfit : a jeans paired up with a jumper and a blazer, some flats, one of my favorite bags and a new pair of sunglasses. 

The sunnies are very round, I know, but I just like them because of the color -nude is so versitale- and probably also because I associate some people when looking at these glasses. 

Would you wear such round ones? 

NEW | Leopard booties

After two years of constant searching for the perfect leopard booties, the hunt is finally over. I've finally found a pair that meets my requirements. 

Let me tell you the story.. About two years I ago I went shopping at Euralille in Lille, France. I was walking around the Mango shop and I saw amazing leopard boots : flat (if you follow me, you know that I don't often wear heels), short and a beautiful leopard print (there are so many different leo prints!). I tried them on and they fitted perfectly but my mum wasn't a fan and she said that I had already spend enough money. So I ended up not buying them, damn what a mistake! On the way home I couldn't stop thinking about them and before I realized it, I was searching like an addict for these booties or look-a-likes. Well, I've searched for such a long time and about 3 weeks ago these leopard booties, or should I say beauties?, from 3 Suisses arrived with as result a very happy me! You can find them here. 

Conclusion : if you really want something, don't stop until you have reached your goal!

Lots of clothing stores get inspired by designers. This time, Mango was inspired by the Isabel Marant Scarlet boots so they made a cheaper version.

OUTFIT | Saint-Tropez in Cyprus?

Last outfit from Cyprus. It's only the third one I show you because I only took outfitphotos of these 3 outfits, sometimes you just don't want to be photographed I guess. 

This outfit, I love it! It gives me a bit of a Saint-Tropez vibe because of the striped dress, my tan, my hair that has a wavy/beachy look and my sunglasses. I felt so good in this outfit, haha! I can not wait until I go to France again; I can already see myself walking down the boulevard in this outfit while watching the sunset and just enjoying life. Aaaah, daydreaming ...

OUTFIT | Striped black and white

Another outfit from Cyprus. I wore this for dinner, without knowing the dinner was going to be quite special that evening. Instead of the usual place where we had dinner, everyone had dinner around the pool and there was a little band playing some music while we watched another amazing sunset. If the atmosphere wasn't special enough, all of a sudden a group of 4 dancers came and showed some traditional Greek dances. I was really impressed, they danced so well I almost forgot to eat haha! Amazing night you can say :)

OUTFIT | Denim skirt

If you've seen my Cyprus diary, you probably recognize this outfit a bit. 

I wore this outfit when my mum and I went to the harbor of Paphos. The skirt was a good choice, I already have this skirt for 2 years now but I've never worn it before, to be honest the price tag was still on it. Shame on me! The top wasn't my best choice since it was very hot and in a cobalt blue top that is very strappy, you can see your sweat (okay, this might sound not that hygienic but all people sweat!). 

I'm definitely going to wear this skirt more often! The top too but under other circumstances ;)

Whether you can notice it or not in your country, Summer has officially arrived. Here in Belgium, the weather is a bit bipolar : one day all you need is a bikini, the next day you have to wear a coat. This is an outfit from over more then one month ago, I wore it to the Holy Communion of my little nephew. Quite a classic look : beige dress with a navy blazer and some gold details.

OUTFIT | Denim jacket and pink

Hi my loves! Here is an outfit from when it was actually spring weather. I was wearing this ripped jeans and pink sweater but it was too cold to go outside like that so I had to wear a jacket. The question was : what jacket?! I looked in my closet, had a moment like "pffff I have no perfect jacket for this look" so I decided to take a look into my mum's closet. I saw the denim jacket and thought it would be great with it but I hesitated a little bit 'a denim jacket? Me?' but eventually I tried it on and from the first second I saw it in the mirror I knew it : my mum her denim jacket would also be my denim jacket from now on!

OUTFIT | Different trousers

My little sister did her First Communion in the local church. I'm pretty conservative when it comes to wearing clothes to church : I didn't want to wear a dress but trousers. I think it's one of the first times you see me wearing not a skinny jeans/pants! Normally I would have worn wedges instead of flats but I woke up this morning and I had no desire to wear heels, so my pants are a little bit long and it looks a bit weird but I really really didn't have to courage to wear heels. I wanted to be dressed classic and to me, this is a classical look. 

Tomorrow is the big celebration/party and obviously I'm going to wear another outfit. What my outfit will look like is a surprise to you and to me, because I still haven't figured out what I'm going to wear!

Wedge sneakers

The hype of the wedge sneakers has already calmed down a little bit but a few weeks ago, I finally found a pair that I like. No, it aren't real Isabel Marants but I don't really care 'cause I like mine more. Because of the touch of snake-print, it makes the shoes a bit more girly. So I bought these sneakers, came home and I realised that I have a bag with almost exactly the same print! I was so happy when I found out haha :)

Denim and pink

This is a look from last week, I guess it was on Wednesday but it doesn't really matter :) It had to be comfortable and not 'over the top' because it was just to go to university. I picked a denim shirt with a jeans, pink shoes and a extralarge big bag! Little extra : my love-necklace that I bought in London in January. 

At the pool

This weekend, there was a heat wave. The temperature was around 35°C and sometimes even warmer. If you know Belgium, you know that these temperatures aren't normal. With that weather, I was very happy that I could swim at my dad's place. Here are some photos from this weekend :) 

LBD

Look of the day : LBD, also known as the Little Black Dress. 

Every woman/girl should have at least one example in their closet. I think I have about 7 LBD's but this one is definitely the most casual one. Just a simple dress in A-line model.

Little old school bag

My outfit of today : a jeans, jumper, flats, gold jewellery and a little brown bag which looks a little bit like a school bag that my grandparents used to have when they were young. Fashion items always return! 

It's a real funny fact that I used this bag today because today I went to the university so I can start studying in September! I didn't realize that I used my 'school bag' while I was going to school/university. 

Coincidence? I don't think so. Foreboding? Yes I think. 

Turkey day 7

Yesterday, my mum and I decided to go see the Manavgat waterfalls. While we were sitting in the taxi, we saw some beautiful rivers, the ones with such a nice colour (we don't have such as these in Belgium..), and a beautiful mosque. After visiting these things we were sooo tired because it was very hot - 42°C in the shadow.. - so we relaxed on the beach. In the photos you can see me wearing a little hat, normally I don't wear hats, like it or not? For the evening we had to be dressed in black and white because it was gala night at our hotel. I wore my evening outfit with a new bracelet, bought here in Turkey. 

Normally my mum and I always go on vacation for just one week but now we're staying here until Wednesday night and I have to say that I'm really happy about it. I won't think about leaving, I want to stay in this beautiful weather !
