EVENT | MOOI!

Last Thursday, the 6th of February, was a pretty special day to me as I went to my first event as a blogger, woop woop! You can not imagine how excited and nervous I was at the same time. After being excited and nervous for a few weeks, the evening finally arrived. I took a shower, chose out my outfit (you'll get to see the photos later) and left for the event.

After a long thirty-five minute drive I arrived at the boutique MOOI!, which means 'beautiful' in Dutch, at Eeklo. 

The concept of MOOI! is 'mode van bij ons', literally 'fashion from with us', which means that they sell clothes made by Belgian designers. Our little country has some great designers and these two sisters really got that. 

They are selling clothes from Jo Devisscher, Zuid, Roos Vandekerckhove, Magdalena, Nathalie Vleeschouwer, Aymara and Conni Kamanski. You will also find juwellery from Just Julia and Elisa Lee, handbags from Dolly & Daisy and scarfs from Scarf. 

The evening was filled with discovering the collections, getting to know the two sisters Anja and Véronique, talking to other bloggers and all this while enjoying a nice drink and some snacks. Thanks to everyone who made my night even more special :)

OUTFIT | Elie Saab dress

Today is Halloween but I really don't like dressing up and having scary make-up on my face etc. But since most people do like Halloween, I want to show you the type of dressing up I do like. I'm more the fairytale type of girl than the scary movies type. So when I was in London in January 2012 (that's why my hair and face look so different) and I saw this dress of Elie Saab in Harrod's, I knew it : I had to try it on! And so I did, playing dress up in January at Harrod's in London, I felt so special. I mean, I was wearing an ELIE SAAB dress, hello how crazy is that for a normal girl like me?! 

Which type are you : the real Halloween or the 'fake' (fairytale) Halloween?

FASHION | Thé coolest designerbrand

According to the Coolbrands list, there can only be one brand called as the coolest. And guess which fashion brand is the winner? Chanel! I completely agree : set up in 1909 and since that moment on, the brand only started to grow. It's amazing how many iconic pieces they have : from shoes to jackets, from bags to perfume. 

Is there something Chanel doesn't have?! 

Would Karl, well known for his straight look (black suit and sunglasses) and straight face, be doing a little dance of joy? If he does a little dance, I would love to see it haha ;)
