Last Thursday, the 6th of February, was a pretty special day to me as I went to my first event as a blogger, woop woop! You can not imagine how excited and nervous I was at the same time. After being excited and nervous for a few weeks, the evening finally arrived. I took a shower, chose out my outfit (you'll get to see the photos later) and left for the event.
After a long thirty-five minute drive I arrived at the boutique MOOI!, which means 'beautiful' in Dutch, at Eeklo.
The concept of MOOI! is 'mode van bij ons', literally 'fashion from with us', which means that they sell clothes made by Belgian designers. Our little country has some great designers and these two sisters really got that.
They are selling clothes from Jo Devisscher, Zuid, Roos Vandekerckhove, Magdalena, Nathalie Vleeschouwer, Aymara and Conni Kamanski. You will also find juwellery from Just Julia and Elisa Lee, handbags from Dolly & Daisy and scarfs from Scarf.
The evening was filled with discovering the collections, getting to know the two sisters Anja and Véronique, talking to other bloggers and all this while enjoying a nice drink and some snacks. Thanks to everyone who made my night even more special :)
Enough talking, let's take a look at the photos!
The mannequins in the window. Love that printed dress from Nathalie Vleeschouwer, this white top -one of my favorite pieces- from Magdalena and the rosé golden necklace by Elisa Lee.
The lovely Jo De Visscher standing by a part of her collection. Both Anja and Véronique were wearing some pieces of her Hunger for Freedom collection.
Here you see Hanne, the right hand of Roos Vandekerckhove.
The company Body & Bess, specialized in beautyproducts based on raspberries, was also present. Anyone who asked for some information got a great explanation and some of their products were inside our goodiebag!
I think they were already a little bit in the Valentine's mood and Marlies from Golden Mirrors & Pink Bows, daughter and niece of the two owners, layed down some of her business cards, smart girl!
Some handbags from Dolly & Daisy and the pretty colorful collection by Nathalie Vleeschouwer. My favorite piece from the whole store was in her collection, the cream-coral printed dress. Sweet fellow blogger Aurélie from LoveLifeLoveFashion said that this dress would look really good on me, maybe I should go back and try it on? ;)
The typical golden touch on the bags from Dolly & Daisy, the scarfs from Scarf and some clutches.
On the beautiful mantelpiece you can find jewels from Elisa Lee and at the pay desk there are bracelets and fish clutches from Just Julia.
Last but not least : they also thought about the men who have to join their women shopping, yes the store has a little 'men corner'! The retro decoration of this space gives the boutique another little extra.
On the right you can see one of the fitting rooms, which also has a retro touch.
