LIFE | Update 'WORDS | It's just a spark'

Two and a half weeks ago I posted 'WORDS | It's just a spark' and I told you that this sentence was from a song and I kept the song a secret because I was curious if anyone would recognize it. 

People were trying to find the song in their memory and there was one real guess, that these words would be from a song from Justin Timberlake but no they aren't from JT.

Six days after the post was published an anonymous smartass 'guessed' the song right by looking it up on Google. Not really guessing but smart move I have to say!

The beautiful words are from the song Last Hope from Paramore. I really really like this song for several personal reasons, I can listen to it all day on repeat.

I created this quote 'myself'. I am writing 'myself' instead of myself because it is a sentence from a song. I made a quote of this sentence because it really means a lot to me, more explanation later. 

Anyone who has an idea or knows from which song this quote is? 

PS : I'm definitely going to reveal the song soon so keep an eye on Blonde Butterflies! I am just curious if somebody recognizes it. 

MUSIC | Bulletproof - La Roux

The weather here in Belgium is very sad : a grey sky and rain. So I thought to share a song with you that always makes me happy. I have very good memories of this song : in 2009, when this song was released, I went to Pukkelpop (a Belgian festival) and since I was crazy about this song I had to see La Roux.

So I went to the tent when it was their time to play and I waited, and waited... It was almost time for the next band to come and play when suddenly, as the last song of their concert they started singing Bulletproof. I went absolutely crazy and their was such a great vibe! Every time I think about it I'm still getting a smile on my face :)

The festival season absolutely kicked off in Belgium. There were already some small festivals but also bigger ones like Summerfestival, Graspop and Rock Werchter. I love going to festivals, there is always such a special vibe. I don't really care if it's a big one or not, if I want to see an artist or I want to go for another reason I will go (if I can of course). For this summer I haven't planned any festivals yet. I hope to be able to go to Fi:hP, even if it's just for one day, and/or Laundry Day. We'll see :) do you like to go to festivals? And are you going to one or more? I would love to hear it so shout ;)

I think I've already told you before that this is my favourite song at the moment. Well, that moment is already lasting quite some time, a few months now I think. With the nice weather from the last days, I love this song even more! I can listen to it for hours. When I'm really crazy about a song, I press on play and put it on repeat. On this song I can go 'total loss' and you know what?

MUSIC | Kanye West projection

Last Sunday night, Kanye West promoted his new single 'New Slaves' by projecting it on different buildings in Ghent. Yes Ghent from little Belgium. 

Earlier, Mr. West already projected the new song with clip on buildings in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, ... 

There are still more projections to come in Birmingham, Amsterdam and Milan. 

Here is a little fragment from in Ghent. The quality isn't the best but I chose this one because you can also see the atmosphere around; seeing people getting together for the same reason : hear and see the new song of Kanye West.

Since a few days, this song of Jessie Ware is constantly in my head so I thought I'd share it with you ;) 

A song that is constant in your head calls an 'earworm', I had never heard of that word until 2 weeks ago! Did you ever heard of this word? I think it's a strange word..

Here I am again with a post with Coachella-outfits. The past weekend was weekend number two, so it was the last one. I think that most bloggers were there the first weekend, definitely the ones I am following on Instagram etc. because my social media wasn't such an overdose with Coachella pictures this time haha.

Bulletproof - La Roux

Here is one of my favourite songs; I love the lyrics, the singer and I have some good memories about this song. I saw La Roux live when I went to my first festival, 3 years ago, and I totally loved it and did crazy on this song ! Tip : listen also to other songs from La Roux
