FASHION | Olivia Wilde for H&M Conscious Exlusive Collection

H&M's new Conscious Exlusive Collection is in the making and guess who they chose to be the face of this collection? Olivia Wilde, the beautiful American actress. 

Olivia is more than just a pretty face who acts, she's also a fighter for the environment so this collaboration between H&M and Wilde isn't a surprise. 

The different touches from all over the world have to give the collection that 'universal theme'. The collection exists out of hand drawn graphics, snake/nature prints, earth tones and simple lines -underneath you can see a preview. I think it looks really good, what's your opinion?

The launch date is only on April 16th so we still got to wait a bit but for a beautiful, fashionable and ecological collection we're willing to wait, no?

FASHION | 6X AW x HM

Let's talk about what every fashionista is talking about : the Alexander Wang collection for H&M. The past months there were speculations and we got some teasers from celebs like RiRi but a few days ago the actual collection has been released. It's a quite sporty and edgy collection that only exists out of three colors : white, grey and black. I am not such a fan of this style so that's why there is only one 'real' clothing piece between my favorites. My two fav's out of these six ones are the bikini and the towel, here comes my love for summer again ;) 

What do you think of the collection? Is it your style?

OUTFIT | Striped bodycon

Hi lovelies, another outfit from my holiday in Tunesia! I can't believe it's exactly one month ago that I left. Like I wrote last week, time can be/feel so different. I'm having this right now as well : I feel like I was just enjoying my holiday but on the other hand it's feels like months ago! 

Unfortunately I'm writing this from rainy Belgium, which sucks to say the least. But looking at these photos also makes me happy because this is an outfit I really like. Quite simple but I think it is because I've been looking for a black and white striped bodycon dress for so long and 3 days before I took off, I finally found it! Plus I could wear my beloved fringe sandals again. 

YAY!

OUTFIT | Peacock print

First of all : happy July everyone! June wasn't such a good month on different levels, incluiding the blog so let's hope that this month will be better. 

Over to the outfit right now. This is what I wore on the first day in Tunesia, when my mum and I decided to go take a look at the promenade. It was actually really nice to have a promenade at our hotel, it reminded me a bit of the Côte d'Azur with the only difference being in Tunesia instead of France. 

We were just taking some photos and suddenly a man came to us with a little turtle and a chameleon, no kidding! Since I am scared of almost all animals, I didn't touch them or something but I just quickly posed for  a photo with them, to run away pretty fast after we got the pic haha. 

And oh, I loved the benches on the promenade! The printed tiles are so beautiful, they reminded me a little bit of Barcelona :)

I think I'll leave you with this text because we already have Tunesia, France and Spain in this post. Plus I am watching the WorldCup game Belgium - USA right now and it's getting too much with all these countries from different continents ;) 

OUTFIT | Printed trousers

Two weeks ago I was in Tunesia -I haven't told you guys this- and this is one of the outfits I wore for dinner. 

I don't think you've ever seen me with trousers like these before but these are so comfortable! Seriously, if I find a similar pair with the same fit in a nice color or print I will definitely buy one, or more.

OUTFIT | Hippie

If you follow me on Instagram you've probably already seen that I played 'hippie' with my little sister today. I don't really know why but suddenly we were hippies because of the headbands we made. 

Absolutely no hippie-outfit but hey, the headband does it, right?! 

OUTFIT | Nude round sunnies

Just a random every day outfit : a jeans paired up with a jumper and a blazer, some flats, one of my favorite bags and a new pair of sunglasses. 

The sunnies are very round, I know, but I just like them because of the color -nude is so versitale- and probably also because I associate some people when looking at these glasses.

And here we are already with the last outfit from Rotterdam. I wore this for travelling, a denim shirt with a jeans, some sneakers, a coat and a super handy bag. What do you need more in an outfit when travelling? 

OUTFIT | May 17th

This is what I wore today. Yes, actually today! Isn't it a shock that I'm already posting it on the blog?! 

I am a little bit proud of myself because normally I'm not that fast..

 I chose this casual chic, more on the casual side, outfit because I had to go to the yearly schoolevent of my little sister. Well, I didn't have to but I love seeing her doing her thing and performing!

The weather was very nice so this boho blouse was enough to keep me warm. Actually, I was dressed too warm but I didn't want to wear a beautiful skirt or dress because with hundreds of little children an accident isn't far away.. 

Tomorrow will be a lazy Sunday in the sun, hopefully I will get a tan! 

OUTFIT | Striped black

Another outfit from Rotterdam. It was the third day, Easter Sunday, and the weather was pretty good so I decided to change my leopard coat into a leather jacket. 

An all black outfit except for the white stripes on my jumper -dang, I searched very long for a jumper like this!-, the golden studs on my bag and the silver details on my jacket and shoes. Oh and let's not forget about that little golden detail on the side of my sunglasses, which I adore! I think that you'll be seeing me wearing them a lot.. 

I added the last photo for a funny touch because I was posing in the park and lots of people came by and my boyfriend doesn't like take pics in general, let alone when people come by. So what did I do?

OUTFIT | Leopard in Rotterdam

Another outfitpost, finally! As you may have read here I went to Rotterdam with the boyfriend to spend Easter weekend but actually it was to celebrate our five years anniversary. We decided to have a little 'datenight', dress up a bit more -me wearing a dress, he wearing a shirt- instead of just casual outfits. 

I wore the little black dress I bought for my 20th birthday together with my leopardcoat, which was my coat for the whole weekend and I was and I still am surprised how good I can combine this coat! Definitely a good purchase last year, hooray! 

FASHION | Alexander Wang x H&M

Very exciting news on this Sunday morning : Alexander Wang is the next guest designer for H&M! They revealed the news a few hours ago at the Coachella festival with 2 videos at Wang's official Instagram, go to @alexanderwangny if you want to see them. Of course they couldn't leave Twitter behind so there was a photo spread of Margareta van den Bosch (H&M's head of design) together with the designer, which you can see below. The collection will hit the stores on November 6th, I can't wait! 

PS : sorry for the absence on the blog the last week but I have been sick for about half of the week.

FASHION | H&M Conscious Collection 2014

In exactly one week, April 10th, the new H&M Conscious Collection will hit the stores. This eco friendly collection has so many amazing pieces this year, it's incredable. The boho-ish white lace dress is by far my favorite piece from the collection. I really really want it but it costs €180 and I don't know yet if I want to spend that much money on it. 

Besides this dress, there are lots of other gorgeous pieces. Every singly piece is amazing actually! 

I have 'second favorite' pieces -the leather crop top, the ruffle blouse and the pleated skirt- but I would probably combine them differently than represented in the lookbook. But that definitely does not take away the fact that this collection is superbe! 

At least, that is how I feel about it, how about you? Will you spurt to H&M next week? 

OUTFIT | Khaki jeans

I totally forgot about these photos. They are from in Maastricht, almost 2 months ago already! 

Since it was the beginning of February, it was way colder than it is right now so that's why you see me wearing my wintercoat and booties etc. Wearing some of my favorite pieces -my leopard booties, Alexander Wang look-a-like bag and my black coat- I was ready to explore the city. 

It was the first time I wore these khaki jeans and honestly, I need to wear it more often because it is so comfortable! Of course it will be combined in other ways because spring and summer are on it's way so don't forget to follow my blog so you can see the other combinations. OUTFIT | Leather leggings

Tuesday night I had a girlsevening with some friends from university. The plan was just to eat something together and chill a little bit, so there was no special outfit required. 

I decided to wear my leather look leggings, a plain black tee from H&M, an oversized cardigan bought at Pimkie and my beloved Asos studded booties. 

I took some photos but they didn't work out well at all. This is the best one and I'm not happy with it because the leggings and cardigan aren't representing the reality. I am just showing you this because I found that it was time for another outfitpost -well, this isn't a post, just one photo but better this than nothing I guess? 

I'll try to find the time, the right light and a good location this weekend to shoot this outfit again.

Besides this, I don't have anything planned  for the weekend. What are your plans? Give me some inspo please! 

OUTFIT | Heels on Christmas

Here is a new outfit for you, my loves. Well, it isn't actually new since this is what I wore on Christmas day but you haven't seen it yet so that's what makes it a little bit new. 

Christmas is already a few weeks ago so let's say I'm fashionably late ;) 

I edited these photos in black and white because the lighting was very bad but seems like the editing didn't work out as well. I've put all the photos on the same black and white, yet there is such a difference in color! Plus another problem, the first photo after the jump break has some crazy pixel-thing going on. 

I don't understand at all why I am having these problems because on my camera and computer they look fine, it is just when I upload them that something changes.

FASHION | Victoria's Secret, & Other Stories and Primark

I actually planned a totally different post for today but since there were a few huge announcements the last couple of days, there is a change of plans/blogposts. 

Let me tell you about the news. It are 3 different things and they all have to do with my little country Belgium. Curious?Here we go : 

1) Victoria's Secret is opening two shops at Brussels airport, one in each terminal, already in December this year! Just for this I would actually book a ticket so I can go to the shop haha! 

2) & Other Stories, the more expensive little brother from H&M, is opening its first store in Belgium. A little bit more details : the store will be in Antwerp, in the Korte Gasthuisstraat, and will open his doors in the beginning of 2014. Bye bye online shopping, hello real life shopping! 

3) Last but not least, Primark is opening a new store in Brussels. Primark already has a store in Luik, plans for stores in Ghent and Charleroi and now Brussels is added to the list as well! 

So, by Summer 2014 we will be able to shop at Victoria's Secret, & Other Stories and Primark. If this isn't great news for all the Belgian fashionista's! 

To my fellow countrywomen : which store are you most excited about? And to my international readers : which store do you miss in your country? Or are you lucky to have all three of them? 

One thing is for sure : I am excited !! 

WISH | Isabel Marant x H&M fringe boots

Yesterday it was the launch of the Isabel Marant for H&M collection for the whole world. Before there had been some events for press, bloggers, etc. but yesterday the collection was available for everyone. Lots of people were looking forward to it and some waited hours before the opening of the stores to get their hands on the pieces they wanted. I wasn't able to go to a store and Belgium doesn't have a H&M online shop with as result that I don't have the fringe booties I want(ed) so bad :( if you or someone you know, is selling these in a size 37(EU)/4(UK)/5,5 or 6(US) please let me know by leaving a comment on this post or sending me an e-mail!
