LIFE | #7things week 3

Here I am with my 3rd Sunday post already! I still need to get used to these posts as in taking better photos (for the whole blog actually..) and keeping my eyes open to make sure I can give you 7 things about my week. I hope I'll become as good as Magdalena, I just love hers!

#GETTINGREADY : Saturday evening it was time to catch up with one of my friends. We went out for dinner so I dressed up a little and of course some make-up couldn't miss.

TRAVEL | Rotterdam diary

Today's plan was and is to give you a photo diary but at the moment I'm at my dad's and I don't have my computer with me so i'll upload the photos tomorrow and the post from tomorrow of course.

I really can not believe that it's already been four weeks that I was in Rotterdam with my love. 

A little getaway with just the two of us to celebrate our 5 years anniversary.

WORDS | I wanna wake up..

If you have read last week's words-post you know that I went on a little trip with the boyfriend. In everyday life we don't live together so we don't sleep together every night and, of course, don't wake up together. We've already spent time together for days, weeks and I have always loved waking up next to him. Last week that only got confirmed, everything is so much better then. 

What's better to start off your day than waking up to someone you love?

If you follow me on Twitter (@lyndesloovere) or on Instagram (lyndesloovere) you may already have noticed that I am in the love mood. The reason for this is that yesterday was the fifth anniversary of my love and I! Reason enough to be completely high in the sky with my head, if you ask me. 

One of the most beautiful things you can say to someone is that you love them so this 'quote' couldn't have a better timing! (Since every week I pick out some words that have a reference to my life at the moment)

Go work on those languages and spread the love!

WORDS | Be with someone..

Lately, I'm having quite a hard time. My brain is one big chaos and is having a constant battle with itself but I'm not going to go any deeper on this. What I really want to say today is that, when you're having a difficult time in your life, it is so important to have someone who can always cheer you up. Even if it is just for a small moment, one little smile can do miracles. (I only just started writing this and I'm already crying, and I know that the crying will continue. Be prepared.) I am lucky enough to have find this person at the age of fifteen. I know I don't say it enough to him in real life -I can't express my emotions very well when it comes to very important emotional stuff, and yes I want to become a psychologist. Irony?- but I am really thankful to have him, I wouldn't know what to do without him. I wouldn't be me, I wouldn't be 'Lyn', I would be lost. 

My love, you're my lover, best friend and soulmate. Thank you for being there every step of the way for the past 1771 days. It is like we're already doing 'trough the good and the bad'. I want to have many more days together, good or bad I don't care as long as I have you. Of course I want to have lots of good days with you but I know we will also get trough the bad, we've already proven this. 

I can say that I love you with all my heart and I think you're the love of my life!

My dearest readers, I really hope you have someone like I have. Everyone deserves this. Yes, even you who thinks they don't deserve somebody like that, you really do! If you don't have met your special person yet, keep in mind that this day will come.

LIFE | Happy International Sister's Day

Today is International Sister's Day and since I have a little sister who is sweet, smart, beautiful on the outside and inside, she definetely deserves to be mentioned today! There is a big age difference between us, 13 years, but she's one of my best friends (may sound strange but it is). She is also the one person in this whole world who can make me smile even when I'm crying. She just makes me so happy : just by looking at her being happy makes me happy ! She is the best sister in the world and my world wouldn't be complete without her. 

If you have a little/big sister, I really hope that she is as great as mine ! 

P.S. : I'll try to write another post today, the one I promised you guys yesterday but I didn't make it..

WISH | Givenchy antigona black snakeskin bag

I'm literally in love with this bag! Why? It's black, shiny and has a snakeskin patern. I can't exactly say how long I'm already searching for a bag like this but it's already a few years. So you can imagine that this beauty makes my heart beat a lot faster! But now the price..about €2000. Maybe a very, very big gift from me to me? I don't know yet, this isn't something you decide in one day if you're just a normal girl like me. We'll see and in the meanwhile I will keep dreaming of it :) 

LIFE | Last Friday night

It all started last year, on the 21st of September. That day was introduction day at university and the day I got to meet these amazing girls. We had an awesome year together : going to class together, chitchatting about literally everything, celebrating birthdays, helping eachother out, laughing, ... It was a year filled with ups and downs but I couldn't be happier that I met them. It's strange and amazing at the same time that people can become such a big and important part of your life. A special message to Tine, Lien, Ann-Sophie, Romy, Elise, Laura and Maxine : thank you girls for this year and I love you all ! 

DIARY | Communion

Here is a little diary from my sister's feast for her Holy Communion. Some pictures of the location, the chandelier which I absolutely adore and of course photos of  the highlight of the day : cutting off the head of the ice-lamb! 

OUTFIT | Cyan dress

This is my outfit of what I was wearing to the feast of my little sister her Communion. (if you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw this dress already. You can follow me here)

I found it really hard to find a perfect outfit; in my opinion you can't wear a white outfit nor a black one when you're going to a Communion. And since I had 'nothing to wear' I had to go on a dress-hunt. After a while, I found this dress in the gorgeous colour cyan at Zara (it also has a baroque-print but you can't see it very well in the photos). 

It wasn't what I had in my mind but my dress turned out to be pretty popular among the guests. What do you think of this dress? 

P.S. : I actually wanted to wear heels but I didn't think that was a good idea because of all the little children who were at the feast. I could already see myself getting 'attacked' by one of them and fall ... It would be funny for the guests but no thank you ;)

LIFE | Happy Mother's Day

To all the mothers in the world : HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! 

But especially to my sweet mum : you're the best. You're not only my mother, you're also my best friend. 

Everyday we laugh together, even in hard times. We have so much fun but we can also talk about serious stuff. I couldn't wish for a better mum and for a better mother-daughter-relationship.

LIFE | Sister love

Two weeks from now, my sister will be doing her First Holy Communion. 

For a 7 year old girl that's a big thing and what does a little one associate with a something big? 

Yes, a celebration with lots of presents. 

Because she isn't "just" family but my little sister who I love with all my heart, I want to give her a special present. So my idea is to print a beautiful, recent photo of us two on a big canvas. 

I wanted the photos to be 'clean' and I also wanted to look like eachother as much as possible so that's why we're both wearing the same leggings (yes, they are exactly the same!) and a white top. Nothing too special because I want to make clear that it's just about us and our special band.

P.S. : she doesn't know that these photos were taking for her present, I told her that I wanted to have some beautiful photos of us to put in my room. So I didn't lie because I will also print some photos for myself!
