NEW | 5 beauty products

Today I am showing you five beauty products I bought lately.

- Essie 'Sole Mate' nail polish : I was looking for a very dark red nail polish so when I saw this color while scrolling trough Instagram, I had to ask what the name was. And so I did. I asked it and bought it. It's the very first Essie nail polish I bought so I was quite curious about the quality etc. but I must say that I am pretty happy with it. A little review will follow. 

- YSL Touche Éclat color number 2 'Ivoire Lumiere' : Last week my mum came home with a surprise for me and it was this concealer from Yves Saint Laurent! Honestly, I couldn't be happier since it can do miracles but my mum and I always shared one, until now. Also very nice is that it is a gift edition so I got a little mascara as well.

- Rituals 24H Hydrating Gel Cream : A day cream that is very fresh. With the temperatures being higher it is nice to use but two months ago I wasn't too pleased with it because I found it too fresh to wear in colder temps, I liked the Rituals day cream from my mum -who has the Essential Anti-Aging Day Cream- a lot more, the texture and scent are just more 'my thing'. But for spring and summer the cream, well it's a gel actually, is perfect. 

- Hema hand- and nail cream : This hand cream is probably one of the best beauty buys ever! It is super cheap, €1.50, very nice to put on your hands and it smells so good. Once I start, I can't stop. I sometimes even use it in the middle of the night when I wake up! 

- Catrice red lipstick : Since a few weeks I am the very proud owner of my first red lipstick. Yes, you're reading it right, I didn't have a red lipstick before myself. I thought that it was about time so I bought one, a pretty cheap one, €3.99, because it is not that I am going to wear it on an everyday base. I was surprised about the quality and softness of the lipstick when I first tried on this lipstick, definitely a good buy.

NEW | 2 giveaways

VogueNL cover (September 2013) 

You may already know that I read a lot of blogs. When you're such a frequent blogreader like I am, you see a lot of blogs hosting giveaways from time to time. So when I read a blog and I see a giveaway that I like, I try my chance! And guess what.. In February I won two giveaways! 

The first thing I won was this fabulous necklace from ILY Couture in collaboration with blogger Trendique. It took a while for the package to arrive since it came from America but hey, no complaints about this beauty! 

A few days later I got an e-mail from Lian from the blog Fashion Hoax that I won a Colorswitch by choice. I couldn't be happier since I wanted a new Iphone-case, the more the better in my opinion! 

So here I am, with my two gifts. It made me think that I could also host a giveaway for you if you like! Let me know in the comments if you like this idea and also what type of giveaways you prefer :) 

NEW | Leopard booties

After two years of constant searching for the perfect leopard booties, the hunt is finally over. I've finally found a pair that meets my requirements. 

Let me tell you the story.. About two years I ago I went shopping at Euralille in Lille, France. I was walking around the Mango shop and I saw amazing leopard boots : flat (if you follow me, you know that I don't often wear heels), short and a beautiful leopard print (there are so many different leo prints!). I tried them on and they fitted perfectly but my mum wasn't a fan and she said that I had already spend enough money. So I ended up not buying them, damn what a mistake! On the way home I couldn't stop thinking about them and before I realized it, I was searching like an addict for these booties or look-a-likes. Well, I've searched for such a long time and about 3 weeks ago these leopard booties, or should I say beauties?, from 3 Suisses arrived with as result a very happy me! You can find them here. 

Conclusion : if you really want something, don't stop until you have reached your goal! 

WORDS | 2014

It is the first Monday of 2014 so I thought it would make sense if I placed some words/quotes about 2014. 

The 3 underneath are really good ones in my opinion but I couldn't leave the one above, '2014 please be good'. I want that 2014 is a good year and I think we all want this, don't we? So 2014, you may start being good tomorrow by making me pass my exam of statistics ;)

July is over and August has started. To be honest I'm not so happy about that because of 2 reasons : 

July is over so the sales are also over here in Belgium and fall is coming closer.

NEW | FCUK bag

Hi sweeties, here is my new French Connection bag! I know, I know, I made a promise to myself to not buy anything for one month but there were 2 exceptions : this rose gold clutch from FCUK and a silver bag from Zara, which I still haven't found :( 

If you follow me on Instagram and/or Twitter (both under the nickname @lyndesloovere) you know that this bag was on my wishlist so bad sooooo .. happy me ! :D 

NEW | Rosé gold

Two weeks ago I received an e-mail from Asos with a student discountcode. If you know me a little bit, you know that I couldn't ignore that! 

As usual, my wishlist at Asos was pretty big but since I bought lots of stuff lately, I had to scrap a lot of stuff from my list. I decided to buy some rosé gold jewellery, which I absolutely adore but I had nothing like this yet. 

After ordering, I made a promise to myself (and my mum) to not buy anything for one month. If you're addicted to fashion and shopping like me, you're probably thinking "OMG, one month of buying nothing !!!", but if you're not such a shopaholic, you're thinking "Girl, chill out, it's only one month.". 

But since I am an addict, I immediately started to count down the days haha. Still 17 more days to go! 

NEW | 'New' in

I want to share the secondhand stuff with you that I've bought the past few months. Some things I bought from friends, others from people I don't know. What is your opinion on secondhand stuff?

Happy 2013

With every new year, people make resolutions. So do I. Most of the time I forgot them after a few months (but I don't have that excuse anymore since I'm going to write them down, here, online) or I just hadn't got the courage to stick with them. But hey, now you guys are here to remind me at them! So, here are my resolutions/goals :

- eat healthier

- write more blog posts (at the end of 2012 I wasn't able to write posts because of some problems with the blog, I apologize again!)

- get good grades

- achieve something with the blog (everything is welcome : get more followers, collaborations with PR-agencies/people/brands, get more comments, etc.)

- explore at least 2 new countries (my goal is 2 because I've already planned a trip to a country where I've never been before so one more to go)

- ...

I wish everyone in the world a HAPPY 2013 !!!
