Lately, I'm having a crush on almost all black and white photos I see. I thought it would be nice to share some of my photo crushes with you :)
The past 5 days were hell because a not so good friend of mine decided to come visit me. His name? Migraine.
Those of you who already had migraine once know what I'm talking about. For those of you who haven't had this yet : your head is hyper sensitive with a special kind of headache, you can't deal with light and/or noises and sometimes you're also nauseous. Because of this sensitivity, your brain is super active which causes even more pain. I'm already laying down in my bed in the dark since Tuesday with the only exception of going to the bathroom. I tried multiple painkillers but nothing helped so far, so if you know something that could help please let me know in a comment below, all suggestions are welcome!
I'm not writing this post to complain or to teach you something about migraine, I just wanted to let you know why I didn't blog while I had actually planned different posts. But you'll get to see them when I'm better :)
Now I'm going to sleep again in the hope that it will be a bit better when I wake up. Please leave a comment with something from your week or weekend. Something funny, nice, or just something you want to share so I have a bit of distraction when I'm awake!
PS : I'm being so fashionable, in my pj's/sweatpants with sunglasses against any light. So much swag!
Lately, I'm having quite a hard time. My brain is one big chaos and is having a constant battle with itself but I'm not going to go any deeper on this. What I really want to say today is that, when you're having a difficult time in your life, it is so important to have someone who can always cheer you up. Even if it is just for a small moment, one little smile can do miracles. (I only just started writing this and I'm already crying, and I know that the crying will continue. Be prepared.) I am lucky enough to have find this person at the age of fifteen. I know I don't say it enough to him in real life -I can't express my emotions very well when it comes to very important emotional stuff, and yes I want to become a psychologist. Irony?- but I am really thankful to have him, I wouldn't know what to do without him. I wouldn't be me, I wouldn't be 'Lyn', I would be lost.
My love, you're my lover, best friend and soulmate. Thank you for being there every step of the way for the past 1771 days. It is like we're already doing 'trough the good and the bad'. I want to have many more days together, good or bad I don't care as long as I have you. Of course I want to have lots of good days with you but I know we will also get trough the bad, we've already proven this.
I can say that I love you with all my heart and I think you're the love of my life!
My dearest readers, I really hope you have someone like I have. Everyone deserves this. Yes, even you who thinks they don't deserve somebody like that, you really do! If you don't have met your special person yet, keep in mind that this day will come.
So tell me, have you met your person yet?
This outfit is probably my favorite at the moment. This black jumper with studs on the neckline, black coat with leather accents, Alexander Wang Rocco look-a-like, special blue jeans and my beloved leopard booties. You'll see me wearing these pieces a lot but I will try to have some variation ;)
Hopefully you had a nice weekend and I wish you all a good week!
Last Thursday, the 6th of February, was a pretty special day to me as I went to my first event as a blogger, woop woop! You can not imagine how excited and nervous I was at the same time. After being excited and nervous for a few weeks, the evening finally arrived. I took a shower, chose out my outfit (you'll get to see the photos later) and left for the event.
After a long thirty-five minute drive I arrived at the boutique MOOI!, which means 'beautiful' in Dutch, at Eeklo.
The concept of MOOI! is 'mode van bij ons', literally 'fashion from with us', which means that they sell clothes made by Belgian designers. Our little country has some great designers and these two sisters really got that.
They are selling clothes from Jo Devisscher, Zuid, Roos Vandekerckhove, Magdalena, Nathalie Vleeschouwer, Aymara and Conni Kamanski. You will also find juwellery from Just Julia and Elisa Lee, handbags from Dolly & Daisy and scarfs from Scarf.
The evening was filled with discovering the collections, getting to know the two sisters Anja and Véronique, talking to other bloggers and all this while enjoying a nice drink and some snacks. Thanks to everyone who made my night even more special :)
Enough talking, let's take a look at the photos!
It is almost Valentine's Day, a perfect day to show your love. Whether you have a boyfriend/girlfriend or you're a happy single, here are some ideas to give to your loved one, best friend or yourself!
-some pretty lingerie
-a clutch with some diamonds
-a bouquet of red roses
-a card to write down your love
We all want ourselves to do be good at something. I guess the problem is sometimes that we want to reach our goal -the impossible- too fast. We think about it and we're going for it with as a result that we place the necessary and the possible on the second place. While when you want to reach the impossible, you have to "start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible".
Never forget this order, sweeties!
I'm a little bit late with beanie inspiration since this trend is already going on for quite some time but I wasn't sure about it yet. I'm not the type of person who follows a trend because it is a trend, I really have to like it.
So I wasn't liking it in the beginning but now I've seen so many models, bloggers, fashionista's and people on the streets wearing this headpiece and now I do like it. I actually bought my first beanie a few days ago!
Now that I have bought one, I can definitely use some inspiration and I would like to share it with you :)
Have an inspiring weekend!

Here is the last part of the streestyle photos by Collage Vintage. These photos are taken at Paris last September.
Now that we're done with the past fashion weeks, the question is : are you ready for the new fashion weeks?
As you may know, my exams are over. What I really need right now is some time to relax, my preference goes to a place where I don't know anybody (no offense to the people I know). This is exactly what I'm going to do this week; go somewhere with my mum to spend some qualitytime, where we don't know anyone else besides eachother.
I'll try to keep you updated and give you some little teasers/hints via my Instagram (@lyndesloovere) if the internet works.
Enjoy your week, peepz!
It has been a really long time since I posted an Instagram diary so it took me a little while to go trough all the photos, find the right ones, make the collages, etc. but I made it ;)
